Mama called the doctor’s office this morning, and they said to bring Chase in to see Dr. Charles. Chase was very cute with Dr. Charles, acting shy at first, and then being his usual friendly self. The doctor said it was probably just a combination of teething and a summer virus and that his ears and lungs were fine. He also said they usually don’t consider it a fever until the temperature is 100.4 – Chase’s temperature was up to 100.9 on Tuesday so that could be considered a fever. When he got home from the doctor, Chase took a long, three-hour nap, then was full of energy and smiles. In the afternoon, right before he went home, he saw three kitties lying together on the sofa, and he was laughing at them and petting them. Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Red Lobster for dinner, and Chase had chicken fingers. Mama took a picture of Chase practicing saying "Shhhh" because Chase was being loud.
