Happy 4th of July! In the morning, Chase, Mama and Sam went for a walk while Daddy played golf. In the afternoon, Chase seemed really happy to be playing outside, especially swinging on the swing. He took two short naps today rather than his regular one long nap. Nanaw came over for 4th of July dinner – ribs and corn – yum-yum delicious! After dinner, everyone went outside so Chase could play in the back yard again. He ran around with his lawn mower, went on the swing again, rode in his wagon, took tools out of the toolbox and ran around with his popcorn popper. Then it was time for dessert: mini-chocolate chip homemade ice cream – also yum-yum delicious! After dessert, Chase ran around the house and then played for awhile in his room with Nanaw. He especially seemed to like playing with his cash register and laying on his stuffed animals.
