Unfortunately, today was not a good day for baby Chase. He had a fever and didn’t feel well at all. We didn’t know if it was because he is teething or if he has a cold. First thing in the morning, Mama dropped Chase off at Nanaw’s house on her way to work so she could tell Nanaw about her Monday trip to Springfield. As trip souvenirs, Mama bought Chase his own little Bass Pro Shop chair, a Bass Pro Shop tee-shirt for Daddy, a Chris Carpenter key ring for herself, and kettle corn and five little LED flashlights for Nanaw. Chase seemed fine when Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk. Chase and Nanaw had planned to go to Laptime at Tesson Ferry library but Chase fell asleep in his high chair just before it was time to leave, so they stayed home. He took two long naps and didn’t want to play. Nanaw took Chase home early so Daddy could take his temperature – it was 100.9 so Daddy gave him some Tylenol. Mama said that when she got home from her hair appointment,  Chase seemed to be doing better, and he got better as the evening went on.
