Today is Chase’s 19-month birthday! Nanaw came over in the morning to visit Chase and take photos. Chase and Nanaw went out in the back yard for Chase to play. He headed straight for his little swimming pool and managed to get all wet (Nanaw’s fault – she put a ball inside the pool and when Chase tried to get it out, he fell halfway in the pool. He played with his lawn mower, slid down the slide and went on the swing. Nanaw changed him out of his wet clothes, and Mama helped him brush his teeth, something he seems to really enjoy. Then Daddy gave Chase a haircut and that went really well. Chase was well-behaved and very patient with the clippers. Mama said that when she and Sam went for an early morning walk, she saw a big Elmo at a garage sale. Nanaw wanted to go buy it but Mama said no. But then on her way home from Schnucks, Mama stopped by the garage sale and bought the Elmo – Yay, Mama. In the evening, Daddy, Mama and Chase went to Uncle Stan’s birthday party.
