Chase was especially happy today, smiling all the time and seeming to have lots of fun on his adventures. First, Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk, before the weather got too hot outside. Chase’s first adventure was Laptime at the Telegraph Road library. Chase was really good during the program, smiling all the while at Miss Kim, clapping and saying "Yay!" when each song or book was finished. During play time, Chase played with a little girl named Sara. He also climbed up on one of the chairs by the coloring table and dumped out all the crayons. After Laptime, Chase and Nanaw went to Handyman Hardware across the street from the library to buy a vacuum cleaner belt, as suggested by Uncle Mike. There was a row of small garden fountains in the store, and Chase seemed fascinated by the running water. When Nanaw took Chase home, he was in a particularly delightful mood, and he entertained Mama, Daddy and Nanaw with his antics.
