Chase and Nanaw and had all their adventures at Chase’s house today. After breakfast, they went for an early morning walk in Chase’s subdivision. Then Chase played in the back yard for an hour and a half – which seemed to make him very happy. He emptied out his toolbox, played with his lawn mower and went on his swing. Then Nanaw gave him a mid-morning snack at his pretend picnic table that’s part of his swing set. For lunch, Chase ate what Nanaw thinks may be his first sandwich: a PB&J made with goober jelly. He did really well holding it in his hands and eating it. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw played with the toys in the living room, then Chase ran around the house. Nanaw thinks she taught Chase to say something that sounds like "zoo."  For dinner, Chase, mams and Daddy went to Logan's in Fairview to meet Daddy's friend Betty. Chase fell asleep on the drive there, despite having a three-hour nap. Chase had chicken fingers and cinnamon apples for dinner and was his usual delightful, babbling self; plus, he seemed to enjoy chewing on the crayons the restaurant gave him. Sam’s toy of the week was his red bone that Jen gave him.
