Rainy day today so there was no walk for Chase. He and Nanaw stayed inside playing all day, waiting for the rain to stop but it never did. At 4 o’clock, Daddy, Mama, Chase and Nanaw went to Dr. Charles for Chase’s 18-month check-up. He weighed 25 pounds 3 ounces; he’s 32 ¼ inches tall; and his head is 19 ¼ inches in circumference. For the first time, Chase was hard to control in the waiting room so Daddy took him for a walk around the building. Once again, he ran around the examining room, entertaining Dr. Charles. The doctor says Chase’s body is properly proportioned and that his demanding behavior is completely appropriate for an 18 month old baby. Chase got only one shot – for hepatitis. His next doctor’s visit is after his second birthday. Daddy took Chase home because Mama and Nanaw were going grocery shopping at Schnucks for Fourth of July ribs. First, they took an exploratory ride through Suson Park so they could plan Friday’s adventure.
