Chase and Nanaw stayed home all day on Monday, one of the very few times they didn't go anywhere or even run any errands. Chase was happy to play downstairs and in his sandbox on the lower deck for most of the day. He helped Nanaw put water in the bird bath and pick tomatoes and cucumbers -- very exciting for Chase. The big news of the day was that Chase went number two in the Elmo potty so there was much celebration of that by Nanaw, Chase, Mama and Daddy. His special treat at Nanaw's house was a package of Swedish fish. At Chase's house, Mama gave him a very, very special: a Thomas the Train that can convert into Percy the Train. Chase seems to love his new train. Hopefully, he'll keep up the good work, especially when he goes to pre-school on August 19. He continues to invite Nanaw to go along with him to pre-school, and Nanaw continues to explain that it's an adventure for Chase and that Nanaw will drop him off and pick him up and wait anxiously for him to come home.
