Today was a major milestone in Chase's life: It was his first day of pre-school. Mama and Nanaw both took him for his first day. It wasn't a regular school day -- it was an open house from 8 to 10. Mama stayed for a little while to get Chase settled with his folder, back pack and supplies, then went to work. Chase did the art project, which was putting white paint on his hand and then making a handprint on a piece of construction paper. Chase played in the kitchen with the other Chase, and they seemed to have a really good time. He also played with the trucks and the dollhouse. At the end of the time, he played with another little boy, stringing together magnetic toys into a long, train-like creation. Nanaw was especially happy to see him playing so well with the other children. After the pre-school open house, Chase and Nanaw went to the big park where Chase found two more little boys to play with -- it was very cute to see them running after each other and doing the seesaw, slides and merry go round together. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road Library, and Chase had a grand time playing with the toys there. Mama sent Nanaw the first two pictures below: the first one is from Sunday with chasing riding Mickey Mouse at Waterloo Walmart. The second photo is Chase in his new Minion pajamas.
