Chase and Nanaw had a major adventure on Tuesday: They adopted a new kitty from the Animal Protective Association. When they first got to the APA, Nanaw took Chase in the play room and then went to look at kitties, looking for a black and white one like Tyra. There was one, a little boy kitty, and Nanaw decided to adopt him. But first, they went to Tuesday Tails and listened to the new Dr. Seuss book. The story reader had her dog there; his name was T Rex and he was nine years old and very gentle and friendly. Chase was so excited to adopt the kitty; he sat quietly in the chair next to Nanaw while she did all the paper work. Chase was delighted to have the kitty in the back seat with him, and he kept wanting to open the kitten carrier. Chase kept calling the kitty Tyra even though Nanaw told him the kitty's name was Charley. It will probably take awhile for Chase to get used to the name Charley.
