Chase had several adventures on Wednesday. First thing in the morning, he and Nanaw went to the Train House. Miss Linda was very happy to see him, and they did crafts together for awhile. Then Chase played with the magnetic puzzles and the magnetic trucks, the train tables, the kitchen, the school bus, and the train track. Then he sat on the quilt with Miss Linda, Nanaw and two little boys and played instruments and sang -- very cute. After the Creation Station, Chase and Nanaw rode on the train and then got popcorn. Unfortunately, the hand cars weren't open and neither was the caboose. But Chase seemed content to play with the train table in the cafe and eat his popcorn. After the Train House, Nanaw and Chase went shopping to buy a belated birthday card for Miss Linda. Nanaw also bought Chase a little sprinkling can for his sandbox and two digger vehicles. Next, they went to the post office and Walmart. Mama called to say she'd passed her test and to celebrate, they were going to Outback for dinner, and Nanaw was invited to go along, too. Chase had five pieces of bread and Mac and Cheese. Nanaw had a delicious steak and lots of Blooming Onion. Tomorrow, Chase, Mama and Daddy are going with Jackson, Uncle Joe and Aunt Jen to the State Fair in Springfield, Illinois. Nanaw wanted to go along but decided to take advantage of the day off to get a bone density and thyroid ultrasound -- yippee -- not!
