Chase's adventure for Wednesday was a visit to the Train House and Miss Linda. First, they played with the "Army guys" and the Thomas house downstairs. Chase had a great time at the Train House with Miss Linda. They sat together on her special quilt and played instruments and sang for a long time. Nanaw sat and sang with them too. Chase played the xylophone and didn't want to share it with the other children. Finally, Nanaw convinced him to go with her to build a train track so the other children could play with the xylophone. They rode on the train, and Chase rode on the hand cars. Then Nanaw bought popcorn for Chase, and they went out to explore the caboose -- one of Chase's favorites. When they go to explore the caboose, Chase calls it "driving the caboose" -- very cute. After they got home from the Train House, Nanaw and Chase took new kitty (Charley Tyra) to the vet for a check-up. Chase cried when they left the kitty there -- he may have been remembering Tyra never coming home. So Nanaw promised that he could go with her to pick up the new kitty and that's what they did. Chase was so happy to see the kitty, and he wanted to take him home with him.
