When Nanaw took Chase to school, she stayed for a few minutes to play with him and Brady and couple of other boys and girls. (On Thursday evening at the parents' open house, Chase's teacher Ms. Carrow told the parents and grandparents that they could stay and play for awhile before school starts at 8:20.) Chase's lunch was chicken tenders but Nanaw didn't get an answer when she asked him if he ate the chicken tenders. Ms. Carrow told the parents that lunch is served family style. Right now, the teachers serve the children but eventually they'll learn how to serve themselves. After school, Nanaw and Chase went to the big park -- Chase chose the big park rather than the little park. Chase took along his new red Angry Bird. Mama invited Nanaw to go along with them for dinner at Merz on Main. Chase decided that the restaurant wasn't called Merz on Main but grilled cheese place -- which everyone, including the waitress, thought was very funny.
