Mama went to Charlotte, North Carolina Tuesday morning on a business trip with her boss Ann so Daddy dropped Chase off at Nanaw's house. Nanaw had planned to take Chase to the Science Center on Tuesday but Chase vetoed that idea. He wanted to go to the big park but when Nanaw tried to take him there two of the roads into the park were closed due to road construction So Nanaw asked Chase if it was okay to go to the little park by the library, and he said yes. He had brought along the red Angry Bird and took him into the little park to go down the slides and in the tunnel. Chase agreed to go to the Science Center on Wednesday. Wednesday will be a very busy day. In addition to the Science Center, Chase has a dentist appointment to get his teeth cleaned, and then Chase and Nanaw are going to the Magic House with the tickets Chase was awarded for doing the summer reading program at the county library. Mama will get home Wednesday night, and Chase will be happy to see her. One of the photos below is of cousin Lindsey in her dorm room with her mom, dad, Kristie, Mike Jr. and Robbie. Joey was the only one who didn't go. There's also a photo from Mama of the carrot cake with cream cheese that she had for dessert at lunch in Charlotte.
