Chase and Nanaw went to the Train House on Thursday. It was Miss Linda's birthday, and Chase and Nanaw said Happy Birthday to her. Nanaw had sent her a birthday card in the mail. Miss Linda got a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her co-workers, and they told Nanaw that the also got her an edible arrangement and a cake. Chase had a good time at the Train House, as always. He played with a couple of little boys and seemed to have a good time with them. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw went to UMSL to go to a retirement party for Gloria, someone Nanaw worked with 30 years ago at UMSL. Gloria’s four-year-old twin grandsons were there, and Chase sat at a table with them to color. When Nanaw and Chase got home, there was a package waiting for Chase. Mama ordered the Letter Factory DVD for Chase and a cool set of magnetic alphabet letters. Then they took Sam for a walk, and Chase rode his big wheel on the walk. In the evening, Mama and Daddy called on Facetime. Nanaw had to chase Chase around the house with her iPhone to get him to talk to mama and Daddy. After the phone call, Nanaw gave Chase a bath in the big, deep bathtub. He played with his little fish but said he wanted to the bath toys from his house. After his bath, Nanaw made popcorn for him, and they watched the Ice Age movie in his room.
