Chase and Nanaw's Thursday adventure was a visit to the Train House. Miss Linda was happy to see them, and they were happy to see her. Chase played on the table with the wooden vehicles and structures while Nanaw put together an elaborate arrangement of train track for paint splash Thomas. (Interesting note: Nanaw went looking for paint splash Thomas and said his name out loud, and one of the women said, "There he is," and pointed to Thomas on one of the tables -- very fun.) Chase and Nanaw also played with the magnetic trucks and the kitchen food. Unfortunately, they hadn't made the popcorn, and Chase was disappointed about that but Nanaw promised to make him popcorn when they got home. Also a disappointment was that the caboose wasn't open for them to go in -- maybe next time. After Chase's nap, cousin Lindsey came to visit and to say good-bye before she goes to college tomorrow. Nanaw took Chase, Lindsey, Mama and Daddy to McDonald's for dinner. Chase got a Happy Meal with a Secret Life of Pets dog named Pops. Chase and Mama were very excited about the dog. Back at Chase's house, Chase, Lindsey, Mama and Nanaw went downstairs to the blue room (formerly known as the purple room) to play with Chase's McDonald's, the house, the school and the village. It was absolutely wonderful and Nanaw was so proud of Mama for saving the toys so well.
