When Nanaw went to pick up Chase on Monday morning, there was excitement at his house. Mama got out her childhood PlaySkool structures for Chase to play with. Chase was most excited about the McDonald's. Mama also has a house, a school and a big village -- plus all the people, furniture, vehicles, etc. Chase played with the McDonald's Tuesday night, and Mama said he could play with everything on Wednesday night. For Wednesday's adventure, Chase and Nanaw went to Powder Valley. First, they walked on the 1/2 mile trail, with Chase using Nanaw's walking stick that Pawpaw bought for her at Rockbridge. Then they went inside to look at all the displays. Chase watched the bees flying in and out of the hive, got in the birdhouse, looked at the turtles and tarantula, and saw an aquarium with tree frogs inside plus a white bug. Nanaw said she wondered what the bug was and that they would have to look it up. So Chase took out his pretend iPhone (his left hand) and pretended like he was looking up the white bug -- very cute. Nanaw had to take Chase home early on Wednesday because she had a teeth cleaning appointment. Daddy was golfing so Mama and Chase went to Walmart where Mama bought Chase Playdough, another Sally Carera and a Patrick from Spongebob -- Chase gets lots of presents.
