It was cold outside on Monday morning so Chase wore his heavy winter coat that Mama bought him last year. It's still sort of big on him; he'll probably be able to wear it again next year. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he came running out to meet her holding his spelling paper and his AR reading book. He missed two spelling words so he has to write all the spelling words three times and take the spelling test again on Thursday. Because he'll be off from school on Friday for Rockbridge, he'll have three tests on Thursday instead of Friday: spelling, reading and math (subtraction). Chase told Nanaw that two of his classmates are quarantining and doing school through Zoom because they may have been exposed to Covid. It was interesting the way he told Nanaw. He said, very seriously, "I have something to tell you." Mama already knew about it because she got an email from the school. Chase played with the computer after school. Nanaw told him that she was going to ask Mama if it would be all right to give him $10 worth of Robux for a Halloween present; Nanaw forgot to give him a present. Nanaw asked Mama, and she said yes. Nanaw took Chase home a few minutes early because he wanted to play outside but Daddy said it would get dark in a few minutes. So they went downstairs to play instead.
