Nanaw went to visit Chase on Sunday evening. He was in the living room playing with a magnificent electric circuit kit. It was fascinating. First, Chase built the circuits for a fan. Then he built a circuit for a light. Last, he built a circuit that worked for both the fan and the light. Nanaw was very proud of Chase. He followed the directions perfectly. Daddy told him to put it away because it was time for dinner, and Chase carefully put everything where it belonged. Nanaw asked what Chase had done during the day, and Daddy said they set up a ping pong table outside and played ping pong. Mama said she played ping pong with Chase also. Chase and Daddy also played volleyball outside. Mama made delicious pot roast for dinner. Nanaw had a second helping and was a bit stuffed. After dinner, Chase, Mama and Nanaw played games. First, they played three games of Don't Rock the Boat. Each of them won one game. Then they played the hard side of Scrabble Jr. Chase was being silly so they ended the game a little early. Mama and Nanaw tied at 32 points, and Chase had 30 points. Nanaw left a little before seven to go home to watch the Hallmark movie, A Timeless Christmas.
