Chase’s Friday adventure was a visit to Powder Valley. First, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk on one of the trails. Chase stopped to look at the map of the trails as he usually. During the walk¸ Chase found a big stick to carry. He also collected some acorns and did a lot of leaf throwing. He seems to like grabbing handfuls of leaves and throwing them up in the air. Inside the Nature Center, Chase was excited to see that the bees were back. They were gone for awhile. He got to see the turtle swimming around in the big aquarium with the fish – usually the turtle is hiding under the rocks at the bottom of the aquarium. Toward the end of Chase and Nanaw’s visit, about 100 school children came into the Nature Center. It was pouring down rain and their outdoor events were moved inside. Chase was delighted to see all the children but it was too crowded so they left. When Chase and Nanaw got home, Chase played with Tyra¸ petting her and saying "He’s so cute." In the evening Mama had some friends over and she had picked up Chase’s toys before they came. Chase wanted to take his toys back out, but Mama and Daddy managed to get him to play with just a few things.
