It was a happy Mother's Day for Mama and Nanaw. Mama got a beautiful necklace and a bracelet with Chase's name on it. Everyone but Kristie, Robbie and Lindsey came over to Nanaw's house for Mother's Day. Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky's present to Nanaw included tomato and cucumber plants, flowers and lots of mulch -- Nanaw's front yard now looks wonderful. Mama gave Nanaw a rose aroma candle. But her biggest gift to Nanaw was the promise of a weekend trip to Kansas City this summer with her, Chase and Will -- Nanaw was very excited about that. Tyra hid out the whole time people were there so no one got to see her. Uncle Mike barbecued ribs for Nanaw -- her favorite -- so it was a perfect Mother's Day dinner for Nanaw. Cousin Natalie brought some light-up balls for Chase, and he had fun rolling them around the floor to make them light up. As usual, Chase was delighted with the snacks on the kitchen counter and helped himself to red licorice, cashews, chocolate candy and chips.
