Chase had a busy, adventure-filled day on Sunday. In the morning, Chase and Daddy went out to Wentzville to see Grandma Pat (Chase calls her Grumma) for Daddy's birthday, which is Tuesday, May 5 -- Cinco de Mayo. After visiting Grumma, Daddy and Chase went to Uncle Chris's house in Silex. Daddy brought along Chase's jeep so he could ride around Uncle Chris's property. Daddy said Chase didn't ride the jeep very much -- it was mostly his cousin Elias who rode around in it. While Chase and Daddy were having their adventure, Mama and Nanaw drove up to Florissant for the Valley of the Flowers parade. Cousin Lindsey and Uncle Mike were in the parade because cousin Lindsey was one of the queen candidates, and Uncle Mike drove cousin Nichole's Mustang convertible in the parade. Cousin Lindsey looked beautiful --she didn't win but said she had an awesome experience and saw some cool people. In the evening, Nanaw went to visit Chase and to play trains and toys with him. Nanaw took along Tyra so she could visit with her brother but Tyra and Tyler didn't seem very interested in each other. Sam was certainly interested in Tyra however; he kept licking her.
