Chase’s first adventure on Thursday was a walk in Nanaw’s neighborhood, his first walk there since last summer. He visited his favorite bush, and he and Nanaw did a lot of backward walking – Chase seems to really like backward walking. After the walk, Chase and Nanaw went to Story Time at the Telegraph Road Library. Miss Kim was doing Story Time, and she read three books about frogs. She had the boys and girls sing songs about frogs, and they also did some dancing. Chase kept wanting Nanaw to do everything he was doing so she did – at least some of it. The craft was a frog mask that you could put a horn blower in – Chase got a big kick out of it. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart. Chase kept asking for a train, and Nanaw said maybe he could have a little train. So then Chase says, "Maybe I could have a medium train." He’s very funny. After Walmart, Chase and Nanaw went to the vet to pick up Tyra. Chase was happy to see her and kept saying he was so cute. He can’t quite understand that she’s a she.
