First thing in the morning, Chase wanted to watch Cats and Dogs again so Nanaw got him all set up with a big pillow and yogurt for a snack. Thursday's adventure was a trip to the Telegraph Road Library for Story Time with Miss Kim. Today's stories and songs were about bugs, and Chase seemed to enjoy listening, singing and dancing around. (Side note: Yesterday Chase invited Nanaw to his "dance party" -- very cute.) The craft was decorating a bug jar with stickers. After Story Time, Chase played on the touch screen computer at the library. Next, Chase and Nanaw went grocery shopping at Walmart. Chase was in a really good mood and was a delightful shopping companion. When they got home, Nanaw found a spider made out of pipe cleaners that Chase could put in his bug jar. He played with the spider and the bug jar while he had lunch and then when he and Nanaw went downstairs to play with trains. Chase also watched a little bit of frozen. Mama went to a happy hour after work and wasn't home when Chase got home so he said, "Mama went to buy me a special." A "special" is what he calls presents that Mama buys for him -- very cute.
