Chase and Nanaw spent a quiet day at home today. Chase had a big day yesterday so Nanaw thought a day at home would be a good thing for him. Chase and Nanaw played downstairs most of the morning. Chase played with his various train configurations, and Nanaw played with him. He also played with his army guys and climbed into the Pack n Play to pretend that he's a baby. Chase asked for some corn flakes he saw on nana's kitchen counter, calling them "little chippies." He ate quite a few "little chippies" and took some home with him. He played with Winston and Bertie the Bus on his Thomas rug, and he made up a song to go along with road on the rug. He sang the words to the melody of Farmer in the Dell and the lyrics were: "Going down the road, Going down the road, Hi Ho the Derrio, Going down the road. He sang the song while Nanaw was driving him home and then sang it for Mama and Daddy when he got home.
