Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning, and they went downstairs to play with the trains -- Daddy came too. Nanaw was surprised to discover that Chase knows how to turn on the treadmill and how to walk on the treadmill -- very impressive. Chase, Mama and Daddy went to Culver's in Fairview Heights to have lunch with Daddy's friend Betty and exchange Christmas presents. mama and Daddy bought Betty a Cardinals umbrella -- that's how Nanaw got the idea to buy herself a Cardinals umbrella. Mama said Chase had an especially great time at lunch because Betty brought along her two little nephews who are five and three -- so Chase had a great time playing with them. In the afternoon, Chase, Mama and Daddy went to Jackson's house for Jackson's fourth birthday party. Chase was excited to see Jackson, and everyone had a wonderful time at the party. Jackson particularly liked the stuffed kitten that Chase gave him (courtesy of Mama), and Jackson wants to come visit Chase so he can see Chase's new kitty Tyler.
