Friday was a day of adventures for Chase. Mama took the day off work, and she and Nanaw took Chase to school. When Chase was settled at a table with a box of tiny dinosaurs, he told Mama and Nanaw, "Go." Very funny. Mama and Nanaw went to Mocha, the coffee shop at the Marketplace shopping center for pumpkin spice coffee. Then they went to Old Navy and then they took Sam to the vet for a cut on his foot. Mama had to stay at the vet so Nanaw went to pick Chase up, driving Mama’s car. Chase was not happy to see Nanaw driving Mama’s car – he wants things to always be the same way. Chase and Nanaw went to the vet to pick up Mama and Sam and take them home. The next stop was Schnucks to buy fried chicken and other food for a picnic at Suson Park. At Suson, they had their picnic lunch, and then went to look at the animals. Next, they went to the playground, which was very crowded with big kids. So Chase didn’t stay very long at the playground. In the evening, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Jackson’s house to visit and to bring Dolly dog home to spend the week – Jen, Joe and Jackson were going to Disney World. Mama sent Nanaw a cute picture of Chase wearing Jackson’s Captain America costume. Chase might borrow it for Halloween if he decides he wants to wear that instead of his minion costume.
