Chase had an exciting adventure at the Telegraph Road Library on Thursday. It's Read Star Wars Week, and Miss Kim read lots of Star Wars stories and sang Star Wars songs at Story Time. For the craft project, the boys and girls made Star Wars hand puppets -- very cute. After Story Time, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart. Their first stop was to see the Christmas trees, which still aren't lit. Nanaw bought paint brushes to work on the Aspenhof sign, and Chase held the brushes all the way through the store -- he wanted to help Nanaw paint. On the way home from Walmart, Chase fell asleep in the car. Nanaw put him to bed when they got home but he woke up and never did take a nap -- just played and chattered -- and ripped apart the Japanese lantern owl that he made at the Columbia Library Story Time last Thursday. It was hanging next to his bed -- bad idea, Nanaw! When Chase got home, Daddy gave him his new shoes, featuring the Hulk, Captain America and Thor -- plus they light up.
