Chase didn't have school today because of teachers' meetings so Chase and Nanaw visited the Train House. Chase was very excited about showing his new Avengers/Captain America/Hulk/Thor light-up shoes to Miss Winda (as Chase calls Miss Linda). The Creation Station had two new toys that were quite a delight to Chase. One of them was a new stand up mailbox with new letters to put in it. The other one was a Little Tykes pretend village with lots of things to play with. Chase and Nanaw played in the kitchen and then built some train tracks. Next Chase and Nanaw rode on the train and then explored the caboose. In the caboose, Chase practiced typing his name on the typewriter. On the way home, Chase and Nanaw stopped at Walmart to buy popcorn for Chase because the popcorn wasn't ready at the Train House, and Chase always gets popcorn there. When Chase woke up from his nap, Uncle Mike was there cutting the grass. The first thing Chase did with Uncle Mike was show him the new shoes that Daddy bought for him Thursday night. Uncle Mike and cousin Robbie are going trout fishing Saturday at Maramec Springs in Saint James. Uncle Mike came to pick up fishing gear, in addition to cutting the grass so he didn't go to the Cardinals / Cubs playoff baseball game but he said he was okay with that. Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw had KFC for dinner, and Chase had fun wearing the KFC box on his head.
