First thing in the morning, Chase and Nanaw had story time with "The Hungry Caterpillar" book and "What is My Job?" Mama said Chase selected the books and brought along his stuffed hungry caterpillar. Chase was his usual excited self about going to school. After he put his folder and name stick in their correct places, he played with the box of tiny Legos. When Nanaw picked Chase up, he said he wanted to go find the camel. He must have heard Mama and Nanaw talking about the camel they saw last Friday. So Nanaw took Chase on an adventure to find the camel but unfortunately he wasn't out in his yard where they could see him. Nanaw promised Chase they would try again to find the camel. Their next stop was at Chase's house to let Dolly dog out. Nanaw brought along Chase's Leap Pad for him to play with. She thinks it's better for him than watching movies all the time on the DVD player. Their major adventure for the day was going to the "new playground" -- the playground at the park on Ballas in Des Peres right across from Edward Jones. Chase was so happy to play on the playground. He found a little girl in a green shirt to play with and followed her around for a long time, until it was time for her to go.
