Friday is the day that Mama and Daddy went to Oklahoma for a wedding. They took Chase to school instead of Nanaw, the first time they’ve done that. Mama called Nanaw to tell her how the drop-off went, and she said she hugged and kissed Chase before she left. She said the schoolroom was full of Halloween decorations and that Chase just stood there, looking around. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, for the first time ever, he ran out of the building over to Nanaw and hugged her – it was amazing. Nanaw got everything ready for their trip to Aspenhof, and then they went to pick up Sam and Tyler for the weekend adventure. When they got to Aspenhof, Chase and Nanaw took Sa, for a walk. Inside the A-frame, Chase dumped all the toys in the middle of the floor. Nanaw had to push the toys out of the way in order to walk across the room. Chase started a new trick – he licks water out of Sam and Tyer’s bowl, saying he’s sharing the water with them – bad!.Chase was fairly wild in the A-frame, running back and forth and making a lot of noise and throwing his toys around. Nanaw read Chase the note Mama sent, and Chase wanted to hold onto it –which was so cute.
