Chase, Mama and Nanaw had a day of adventures on Friday. Mama had the day off work and spent it with Chase and Nanaw. First, they went to Walmart where Mama bought Chase three toys: a Bowser truck from the Mario game, a set of Stikbots, and a light-up, glow in the dark Fidget Spinner. Chase was excited to have so many good things to play with. The big adventure of the day was going to Suson Park for Farm Friday. The activities included pony rides, a hayride, miniature tractor rides and face painting. But Chase didn't want to do any of those things. All he wanted to do was to see all the animals (or "amamals" as Chase calls them) and play on the playground. As usual, Chase's favorite animals seem to the chickens, but he also liked all the miniature horses, pigs (there were lots of babies) cows, regular size horses, sheep, goats, and turkeys. After visiting all the animals, Chase, Mama and Nanaw went to the playground. It was really hot outside but Chase didn't seem to notice, and he had a great time playing. After Suson Park, they went to the flag store on Manchester Road so Mama could buy a new Cardinals outdoor flag because her old one wore out. Next, they went to Penney's to buy Father's Day presents for Daddy. Mama asked Chase to please not tell Daddy what they bought -- we'll see how that goes. The last adventure of the day was getting lunch from McDonald's. Chase got another Peanuts Beanie Baby elephant in his Happy Meal. Nanaw told him now he has twin elephants, and he liked that idea.
