Happy Father's Day! Mama said Chase was really good about keeping all of Daddy's Father's Day presents a secret from Daddy. Chase and Daddy went to church together on Sunday morning, then for lunch, they went to Hooter's. In the evening, they came to Nanaw's house for Father's Day dinner. Nanaw made mostacciolli and Uncle Mike grilled chicken. Nanaw also made a cherry chip cake for Mama to make up for the Mother's Day dessert of yellow cake with chocolate frosting. After dinner, they took the German Shepherds -- Cheyenne and Apache -- for a walk in Nanaw's neighborhood. Unfortunately, Nanaw tripped over Apache and fell down and scraped her knee on the street. But it's okay, and Chase has been very solicitous about it. Chase had a great time chasing after the dogs and having them chase after him -- Chase's name is most appropriate.
