Chase and Nanaw's adventure on Tuesday was a visit to Powder Valley. It was their first visit since April, and Chase was excited to see all his favorite displays there. First, he climbed on the frog outside, something he always does at Powder Valley. He visited the snake display and the tree frog aquarium. For a long while, he played with the puppets and with several boys and girls who were also playing with the puppets. There were quite a few boys and girls visiting Powder Valley, and Chase enjoyed interacting with them. He spent some time visiting the bees and was fascinated with the clusters of bees outside at the entrance to their hive. He and Nanaw called it a "door jam." He visited the fish aquarium but the turtle that lives there was hiding out. When Chase and Nanaw got home, Nanaw set up the Elmo sprinkler for Chase, and he had a wonderful time playing in the water for about an hour. Of course, he didn't want to come in but Nanaw promised he could play again in the sprinkler again tomorrow. In the evening, Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw went to the Cardinals baseball game -- it was ScottTrade night at the stadium, and everyone had a great time.
