Chase's first adventure on Wednesday was a visit to the Magic House. When they got there, Nanaw asked Chase if he wanted to go play in the outdoor sand area. She was surprised when Chase said "No, it's too hot outside." It was probably the first time Chase said anything about it being hot. Inside, Chase headed directly for the new hockey area. He spent over half an hour playing in there in the ice barrels. He also played with two boys who were a little older than him -- it was very cute to watch him interacting with them as they played a pretend game of hockey and played with the hockey jerseys, goalie gloves and leg pads. Next, they went to the bubble area. Their next stop was the air ball area, where he spent a lot of time playing with the balls floating over the air. There was another boy there that Chase was playing with. He really likes playing with other boys. When they left the Magic House, Nanaw promised Chase that he could play outside in the Elmo sprinkler, which is exactly what he did. He had a great time running around in the water. When Chase got up from his nap, Uncle Mike was there at Nanaw's house, and Chase was happy to see him.
