On Friday morning, Nanaw put Chase's tent outside in the front yard, along with all the stuffed "amamals" that Chase brought from home. Chase and Nanaw played outside in the tent and also played baseball in the front yard. Then neighbor Dan showed Chase and Nanaw the six baby chicks he bought at Rural King for the visit of his grandsons, Danny and Benjy. (Note: Nanaw arranged with neighbor Dan to take his grandsons to the Train House next Tuesday.) Chase and Nanaw started out for Powder Valley when Nanaw discovered that her air conditioning was once again not working. She went to Dobbs and told them she was taking the car to Ford to see if they could figure out what was wrong. She went and talked to Ford and made an appointment for next Wednesday. Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree on the way home and bought Chase another launching car, a light up bouncing ball and a stuffed Nemo to keep Dory company because she's lonely. In the evening Chase, Mama and Daddy went to Aunt Becca's house to visit her friends who have a little girl named Noelle.
