Chase and Nanaw had to spend the day at home on Thursday because Nanaw's car was at Dobb's getting fixed. (The problem turned out to be the water pump. The mechanic said that was what was causing the problem with the air conditioner also. The water pump was leaking and the engine was overheating and that caused the air conditioning to stop working to protect the engine. What a smart little Escape!) Chase and Nanaw did lots and lots of things together. They played downstairs in the tent, with Chase pretending there was a tornado and a storm outside -- it was so very cute. They also played with the Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage, the color-changing cars, the swimming fish, and Chase's box of Hot Wheels and other cars. At the end of the day, Chase made what he called a "card" for Nanaw: he used his little stamps and drew pictures and wrote his name on it. He also made one for Mama. It was very cute. Mama came to Nanaw's house on her way home from work to take Nanaw to Dobb's to pick up her car. On the drive there, Chase told Nanaw she had to make a card for him tonight and give it to him tomorrow. Nanaw told him she would, then told him was going to Walmart Thursday night and would buy a Woody/Buzz mini winebag for him.
