Friday was the last day of Safety Town, and Chase was sad to see it end. Friday the firefighters came, with two huge fire trucks and lots of information for the boys and girls. They learned about tornadoes and what to do in a fire and when to call 911, plus lots of other emergency ideas. Then came their graduation. The boys and girls did a cheer and sang a song. They got certificates of graduation and wore graduation hats. Their special treat was a Dilly bar, plus cookies. Chase and Nanaw decided when Chase is in fifth grade, the two of them will volunteer to work at Safety Town -- that will be great fun. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw played floor/kneeling hockey and finished reading The Nightmare Before Christmas. For dinner, Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw went to Who Dat's. Then they went to Aunt Becca's house to water her plants. She and Uncle Stan are on vacation in Gatlinburg.
