Nanaw went to visit Chase Saturday morning. When she got there, Daddy and Chase were in the living room, and Daddy was helping Chase get into his new hockey equipment that mama and Daddy bought for him at Pure Hockey (a hockey equipment store on Lindbergh). Chase was so proud of his equipment and enjoyed showing it off to Nanaw. Nanaw and Chase played hockey in the hall, and as Chase got warm from playing, he took off more and more parts of his hockey equipment. It was very cute. Next, they played school on Chase’s bed, which they’ve named the houseboat school. Chase has begun insisting that he and Nanaw take turns reading sentences when they read. It’s interesting to watch him not seem to be interested in the school work, and then it catches his attention and he’s all in. In the afternoon, Chase and Daddy went out to Wentzville to visit Grandma Pat. Daddy said Chase did very well eating pork roast, mashed potatoes and corn.
