Sunday was Father’s Day and Nanaw and Pawpaw’s 58^th wedding anniversary. Chase got ice skates for his new hockey adventure. He’ll have his first ice skating practice on Thursday, June 28; he’ll miss the first one on June 21 because it’s his last baseball game. Everybody (or mostly everybody) came to Nanaw’s house on Sunday for Father’s Day Dinner.(Kristie and Lindsey had to work, and Mikey is in Okinawa,) Uncle Mike grilled pork steaks and onion burgers; Chase only took one bite of his tiny burger but he ate it for lunch on Monday. Daddy and Chase played baseball in Nanaw’s front yard for awhile. Mama bought a delicious ice cream cake at Dairy Queen. She had them decorate it with Happy Father’s Day, Will and Mike – very funny. Aunt Becky brought delicious peach cobbler.
