Chase was unusually anxious to go to Safety Town on Thursday morning. He started watching the clock and wanted to go at 8 a.m. Nanaw told him they would leave at 8:40. He talked her into leaving at 8:35. He was one of the first ones there -- it was very funny. When Nanaw picked him up, she got to hear the report about what the boys and girls had done that day. The big thing was the visit by the EMTs. Chase got to go in an ambulance, and he was very excited about that. After Safety Town, Chase and Nanaw went to Powder Valley. It had been awhile since their last visit, and they had fun seeing all their favorite displays. One of Chase's classmates was there with his day camp -- it was fun to see the boys' confusion at seeing a familiar person in an unfamiliar setting. When they got home, Chase and Nanaw did some reading, and that was fun also. Daddy went to get Chase's hockey equipment for his hockey lessons and took a picture of Chase wearing everything. Mama sent Nanaw the picture, and it's awesome. Maybe Chase will be a famous hockey player some day.
