Mama and Daddy were off work again today and were going to spend the day with Chase. So Nanaw went to visit Chase first thing in the morning. She took along his workbooks and addition flashcards. But she forgot to take a book so they read one of Chase's Biscuit the Dog books. They played school for the longest time ever, and Chase did lots of pages in the workbooks. He kept saying, "I'm done." But then he'd get interested in another workbook page and do it. Nanaw thought it was very funny. At noon, Mama and Daddy took Chase on a major adventure to The Pavilion at Lemay -- a huge swimming pool and water play area. Mama said he had a really good time but they didn't stay very long because Chase was hungry. Nanaw went for a ride to find Jefferson Barracks Park and the Pavilion. It's all very cool and leads to the cemetery -- who knew. Nanaw went for a walk in the park; the park is huge and beautiful, and Nanaw plans to take Chase there sometime. In the evening, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Metter Park to watch movies in the park with Brady and his family. The movie was Moana.
