Friday. September 11, 2015

As usual, Chase was excited to go to school Friday morning. For the first time that Nanaw saw, Chase was able to open his locker by himself. It's a bit tricky because you have to pull the handle up and then out. After school, he was hiding behind one of the pillars at the front door, and Nanaw told him they were going on an adventure at Suson Park -- hayrides and pony rides and the playground -- that got him out from behind the pillar. At first at Suson, he only wanted to play on the playground -- he said he didn't want to go on a pony ride or the hayride. He played for about 45 minutes, having a grand time running around and going down the various slides. Then some older boys came onto the playground, and they were running into the little kids and knocking them down so Chase and Nanaw left the playground. And miracle of miracles, Chase decided he wanted to go on the hayride first and then the pony ride. Nanaw bought a ticket, and they waited in line for the hayride. Chase had a great time and did a lot of hay throwing, along with another little boy. Then he rode on the brown and white pony and seemed to like that a lot. When they were on the hayride, Chase saw some little toy tractors that children were riding in a pavilion so he wanted to do that also. After he rode on the tractors, Chase and Nanaw left -- it was a perfect, fun day for both of them. In the evening, Chase went out to dinner at Joe's Pizza with Mama and Daddy.
