Chase and Nanaw went to one of their favorite places on Tuesday: Powder Valley. It's been a couple of weeks since their last visit to Powder Valley -- they've been kept busy by the Kansas City trip and Chase starting school. They went into the Nature Center first, and Chase had a great time exploring all his favorite displays. There was a little boy there that Chase played with -- he's so very social and always likes playing with other children. That's probably one of the reasons he likes school so much. (BTW, yesterday when Nanaw picked him up from school, Chase said he wanted to stay at school.) After the Nature Center, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk on the Tanglevine trail. They saw a deer lying in the woods, eating something. He/she just sat there chewing and didn't run away. Chase was very excited to see the deer and stood watching him/her for awhile. On their way home from Powder Valley, they stopped at church for Nanaw to return the master CD and then drove by the library for Nanaw to return the China Beach DVDs.
