Chase was excited to go to school Wednesday morning -- he really loves it. Nanaw finally took photos of him coming out of the door with his back pack. Nanaw hasn't been doing a good job of taking school photos. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he told her he had "bars" and chocolate milk for the snack. As Chase and Nanaw were walking across the school yard, Chase saw Ms. Merz and Mrs. Kisch leading the boys and girls who stay in pre-school for the whole day. Chase shouted out, "My friends! My teacher!" It was very cute. Chase and Nanaw went to the Train House, much to Chase's delight because they didn't go last week. Chase was so happy to see Miss Linda and she was happy to see him -- and Nanaw. She thanked Nanaw for the birthday card and showed Nanaw the new books and toys she bought for the children to play with. Chase and Nanaw rode on the train and explored the caboose, all the while eating their delicious popcorn. In the evening, Mama invited Nanaw to go to dinner with Daddy, Chase and Mama at Merz on Main, the restaurant that Chase's teacher's parents owns. Chase was playing with Nanaw's iPod and he took pictures of Mama, Daddy and Nanaw. Three of the pictures Chase took are include below. There was going to be live music there at seven, and Mama and Daddy made sure they all left before that because Chase wouldn't have wanted to leave after the music started. On the way home, they stopped at Schnuck's and Chase was excited to ride in the car cart.
