Chase's adventure for Thursday was a visit to the Transportation Museum, his favorite place. He was very happy to see Miss Linda, and she was happy to see Chase and Nanaw. Chase worked on a craft, then helped Miss Linda put the xylophones, toy piano and other musical instruments on the quilt. Two other little children came to sit on the quilt, and they all played instruments and sang songs. After the Creation Station, Nanaw bought popcorn for Chase, and then Chase and Nanaw rode on the train. the last thing they did was to explore the caboose; as usual, Chase played with the typewriter. Next Chase and Nanaw went to the library for the tail end of story time and crafts. Then Chase played in the children's area. A little boy and girl were there with their Daddy, and Chase played with the little boy. They were very cute together, chattering away unintelligibly, which made Nanaw laugh, because they seemed to be able to understand one another. After the library, they went to Walmart where Nanaw bought Chase another train set -- Gator and the Alligator. When they were ready to leave Walmart, it had started to pour down rain so they waited by the front door for about 20 minutes until the rain stopped.
