Chase had the day off school for a special Illinois holiday so Chase and Nanaw went to the Grant's View Library. Chase enjoyed using the automatic book return to return one of the books. This time, Chase and Nanaw watched through the window to watch the book travel on the rollers and drop into one of the bins. It was very interesting, and Nanaw wonders what each bin represents. Chase played abcmouse at the library; the library has its own subscription. While he was there, he changed his avatar to a little bald boy wearing glasses -- very funny. After the library, Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree. Chase picked out two figures and some bouncy pretend play dough. Nanaw later found out from Mama that the two figures were from the TV show doc McStuffin. And Chase told Mama that Dollar Tree also had Chilly the Snowman and that he wanted Nanaw to buy it for him. In the afternoon, after Chase's nap, Chase and Nanaw took TJ to the vet to get his rear claws clipped so he can't scratch his allergies.
