Wednesday was Chase's last day of school for a week -- he doesn't go back to school until next Wednesday. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to Powder Valley for their Wednesday adventure. Chase climbed on Mr. Frog as usual. He was also very interested in the tiny new plants that have been added to the front of the building. Nanaw told him they were going to grow into beautiful flowers. Chase had a grand time exploring all his favorite displays. He and Nanaw looked for their friend the turtle in the big aquarium but couldn't find him. Then the conservation workers fed the fish and the turtle came out of hiding to eat the shrimp bits floating on the top of the water. There were a lot of children visiting Powder Valley for spring break, and Chase was excited to see them and follow them around -- Nanaw's little stalker. When Chase got home, he told Mama he wanted to play with his fish, and she got them out for him. There hadn't been time to play with the fish at Nanaw's house so it was good that Chase got to play with them at home.
