Today was the day the cleaning lady comes so the morning was taken up with Nanaw frantically putting things away, especially in Chase's room -- that's always the hardest, most time-consuming rooms to get in order. Maybe one of these days Chase will want to help Nanaw pick up toys -- so far, no luck with that. Around noon, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart to get an oil change and to grocery shop. Chase was his friendly, charming self while Nanaw shopped -- probably because she promised to buy him a toy. Today's toy was another Cars car -- a blue, boxy, square car named Trunkov. When Chase and Nanaw arrived home at 2 p.m., they discovered the cleaning lady hadn't been there yet. Nanaw called the company and found out that the original worker hadn't come in today and that a replacement worker would be there at 3 p.m. So Chase and Nanaw went downstairs and played abcmouse and watched TV till the cleaning lady was done -- for a different but fun afternoon.
