Nanaw went to visit Chase first thing on Saturday morning. Daddy was out running and when he came back he was going to go to Ace Hardware. Mama told Chase he could go with Daddy to the hardware store or with Mama and Nanaw to Walmart. Of course, he chose Walmart because of all the toys there. At Walmart, Mama bought him two super hero mini winebags (he got two adorable ones -- Captain America and Spiderman). Nanaw bought him one of the new characters in Cars 3: Jackson Storm. In the afternoon, Mama, Daddy and Chase went out to Silex to Uncle Chris's 4th of July party. Mama made a 4th of July cake with strawberries and blueberries -- Chase thought it was cool. Mama said that at first Chase didn't want to go swimming in Uncle Chris's pool but finally he did and had a good time playing with his cousins, Cessie, Elias and Mallory. In the evening, there were lots of fireworks, and Mama said Chase especially liked that.
